RWLSEE Steering Committee’ member Sonja Biserko met with the Head of the UN Office Mari Yamashita in Belgrade, on19 November 2021. Ms. Mari Yamashita was interested in the work of the Regional Lobby, especially in the activities of the Lobby related to the dialogue of women from Kosovo and Serbia , which serves as a regionally mediated track two peace process in support of the EU facilitated dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. Ms. Biserko informed her about achievements and challenges of the Regional Lobby in contributing to gender equality, WPS Agenda and peacebuilding in the region of the Western Balkans
