This strategic planning meeting, planned for the end of 2010, had the goal of summing up several issues that have been central to RWL and UNIFEM over the past year: activities in the region related to the ten year commemoration of 1325; the transition to UN Women from UNIFEM and the upcoming new phase of 1325 activities for RWL and UN Women. Participants were from the RWL Steering Committee, RWL Advisory Board member Dr. Ursula Plassnik and UNIFEM Regional Programme Director Ms. Erika Kvapilova and UNIFEM staff Ms. Flora Macula and RWL Coordinator.
