The Regional Women’s Lobby expresses full solidarity with women’s organizations in Israel and their demands for an immediate end to the violence, killing of civilians and destruction as well as to affirm support for the politics of peace as the only human choice for the people and citizens of Palestine and Israel.

Turning attention away from the voices of militarization towards the alternate voices of women and those whose voices can’t reach public space, Israeli women’s organizations make transparent an issue of the power within political and media spaces.

We support them in their efforts to stop the media blockade that doesn’t contribute to peace; we support them in their stand that a peaceful resolution cannot be possible without women; and we advocate for a coalition of international women’s solidarity to establish long-term peace in this region.
