The Regional Women’s Lobby for Peace, Security and Justice in Southeastern Europe (RWL SEE) held the Regional Roundtable on November 23-25, 2013, in Istanbul, Turkey. The topic was “Women and the European perspective of the region: Role of women in supporting implementation of peace and normalization agreement between Pristina and Belgrade”. This Roundtable was follow up of ongoing dialogue between women politicians of the Western Balkan region, and RWL SEE members. It ended up with remarkable success thanks to a constructive debate and creative ideas of participants around the goals of advancing peace and security processes in the region, speeding up the European integration for all countries in region as well as empowering women.
